Working Student Market and Route Analysis (all genders)

Your mission
You will be part of our interdisciplinary aircraft design team and support the design process of our electric aircraft by providing meaningful market and routes insights. Hence, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing market analysis by collecting data from various sources and extracting meaningful insights from the data.
  • Analysing existing flight networks and identify potential future flight networks.
  • Calculating the performance of our electric aircraft on flight routes.
  • Maintaining and extending our route analysis toolset.
  • Transforming the new insights into a proposal for aircraft-level requirements.
Your profile
  • Minimum a BSc in a relevant background e.g., aerospace engineering, computer science and/or data science.
  • Excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
  • Experience with aircraft design processes.
  • Experience with data mining and data science.
  • Excited to familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • Creative, reliable and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Fluent in English, preferably also in German.

VÆRIDION is a fast-growing deep tech start-up based in Munich, Germany. Since the restrictions by law on CO2 emissions for domestic and short-haul air travel will stimulate Green Regional Air Mobility, we believe it's our mission to provide an aircraft for Zero emission regional flights.  
At VÆRIDION our goal is to develop, build and certify a full electric microliner carrying up to 9 passengers for Short-Haul and Regional Air Mobility by 2030. A full electric microliner is cleaner and cheaper to operate than other aeroplanes in its class, it  provides a better travel experience door to door up to 500 km. We offer new optimized design based on proven principles, around  proven and available technology in electric motors and batteries, that brings lowest risk and shortest route to certification.
