Your mission
In this Senior Airborne Electronics Hardware Engineer (all genders) role, you will join the VÆRIDION R&D team within the Technology division. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting electronic hardware for the propulsion battery management and power distribution for VÆRIDION’s CS-23 all-electric aircraft. This role requires a strong understanding of avionics, electronic systems, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of the High Voltage Electrical Power System at the core of VÆRIDION’s novel propulsion system.

- Design and develop electronic hardware for propulsion battery and power distribution from prototypes to future airworthy systems, including analogue and digital circuit design.
- Implement airborne electronics hardware development processes and toolchains in compliance with aviation standards and regulations.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to ensure system performance and reliability under various environmental conditions.
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware validation, including functional, environmental, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Generate detailed documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Support manufacturing and testing teams with troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues.
- Stay current with advancements in electronics and avionics technologies and incorporate new methodologies and components into designs.
