Your mission
As an (R&D) Manufacturing Technician, you will ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing facility. Maintaining consistent production quality, minimizing downtime, and ensuring that all systems and processes operate smoothly to meet production goals in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. This includes proper documentation, regular audits and continuous monitoring.
  • Implement a Zero-Safety-Incedent culture with no safety violations.
  • Identify and adress any deviation from design specifications during production processes.
  • Maintain traceability and history of executed work through adherence to manufacturing processes and documentations.
  • Create lessons learned depository to foster continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and optmize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Implement Zero-FOD (Foreign Object Debris) culture.
Your profile
  • Completed training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial mechanics.
  • A qualification as an electrician is an advantage.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in aerospace, automotive or battery production.
  • Basic ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manufacturing documents.
  • Experience using electrical and mechanical tools such as multimeters, IR testers, torque spanners, calipers, drills, etc.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, spot welders, dispensing equipment and presses.
  • Familiarity with measurement and testing methods in manufacturing (e.g. OCV, IR, SOC, SOH, CV, CC).
  • Experience with safety protocols (including LOTO procedures) and handling hazardous materials.
  • Hands on experience with inspection and testing procedures in the manufacturing environment.
  • High accuracy in manufacturing physical products in accordance with manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing and testing of high voltage battery modules is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German.

About us
VÆRIDION is a fast-growing deep tech start-up based in Munich, Germany. Since the restrictions by law on CO2 emissions for domestic and short-haul air travel will stimulate Green Regional Air Mobility, we believe it's our mission to provide an aircraft for Zero emission regional flights.  
At VÆRIDION our goal is to develop, build and certify a full electric microliner carrying up to 9 passengers for Short-Haul and Regional Air Mobility by 2030. A full electric microliner is cleaner and cheaper to operate than other aeroplanes in its class, it  provides a better travel experience door to door up to 500 km. We offer new optimized design based on proven principles, around  proven and available technology in electric motors and batteries, that brings lowest risk and shortest route to certification.
Deine Aufgaben
Als R&D Fertigungstechniker:in (all genders) sorgst du für eine sichere, effiziente und zuverlässige Produktionsanlage. Du kümmerst dich um eine gleichbleibende Produktionsqualität, minimierst Ausfallzeiten und stellst sicher, dass alle Systeme und Prozesse reibungslos funktionieren, um die Produktionsziele unter Einhaltung der Sicherheitsvorschriften und -standards zu erreichen.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Gewährleistung der Einhaltung aller Sicherheitsprotokolle und gesetzlichen Vorschriften. Dazu gehören eine ordnungsgemäße Dokumentation, regelmäßige Audits und eine kontinuierliche Überwachung.
  • Umsetzung einer Kultur der „Null Sicherheitsvorfälle“ ohne Sicherheitsverstöße.
  • Erkennen und Beheben von Abweichungen von den Konstruktionsspezifikationen während der Produktionsprozesse.
  • Aufrechterhaltung der Rückverfolgbarkeit und der Historie der durchgeführten Arbeiten durch Einhaltung der Fertigungsprozesse und der Dokumentation.
  • Erstellung eines Archivs mit den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen zur Förderung der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung.
  • Aufrechterhaltung und Optimierung von Fertigungsprozessen zur Steigerung der Produktivität und Reduzierung von Abfall.
  • Implementierung einer Null-FOD-Kultur (Foreign Object Debris).
Dein Profil
  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Techniker:in in den Bereichen Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik oder Industriemechanik.
  • Eine Qualifikation als Elektrofachkraft ist ein Plus.
  • Mehr als 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Luft- und Raumfahrt, Automobilindustrie oder Batterieproduktion.
  • Grundlegende Fähigkeit zur Interpretation von technischen Zeichnungen, Schaltplänen und Fertigungsdokumentationen.
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit elektrischen und mechanischen Werkzeugen, wie Multimeter, IR-Tester, Drehmomentschlüssel, Messschieber, Bohrer usw.
  • Erfahrung in der Bedienung und Wartung von Fertigungsanlagen, wie z. B. 3D-Druckern, Laserschneidern, Punktschweißern, Dosiersystemen und Pressanlagen.
  • Vertrautheit mit Mess- und Prüfmethoden in der Fertigung (z. B. OCV, IR, SOC, SOH, CV, CC).
  • Erfahrung mit Sicherheitsprotokollen (einschließlich LOTO-Verfahren) und dem Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen.
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit Inspektions- und Prüfprozessen in der Fertigungsumgebung.
  • Hohes Maß an Genauigkeit bei der Herstellung von physischen Produkten in Abstimmung mit Fertigungsdokumentationen.
  • Erfahrung in der Herstellung und Prüfung von Hochvolt-Batteriemodulen ist von Vorteil.
  • Fließend in Deutsch, gute Englischkenntnisse.
