Your mission

As a Public Funding Specialist (all genders), you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing public funding opportunities for VÆRIDION. You will be responsible for researching funding sources at the state, federal, and European levels, and collaborating closely with project management to decide which funds to apply for. Your efforts will directly support our mission to advance zero-emissions aviation in Europe.

Your Day-to-Day

Research and maintain an overview of public funding sources on state, federal, and European levels.
Collaborate with project management to make informed decisions on which funds to apply for.
Drive the application process for funding calls, sometimes in collaboration with external consultants.
Align stakeholders to incorporate their topics into funding applications.
Lead the organization of already granted projects to prepare calls for funds.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders involved in public funding and research.

Your profile

Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Business, Environmental Science).
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in public funding or grant writing.
Fluency in English & German is required
Passion for sustainability and zero-emissions aviation.

About us

VÆRIDION is a fast-growing deep tech start-up based in Munich, Germany. Since the restrictions by law on CO₂ emissions for domestic and short-haul air travel will stimulate Green Regional Air Mobility, we believe it's our mission to provide an aircraft for Zero emission regional flights.
At VÆRIDION our goal is to develop, build and certify a full electric microliner carrying up to 9 passengers for Short-Haul and Regional Air Mobility by 2030. A full electric microliner is cleaner and cheaper to operate than other aeroplanes in its class, it provides a better travel experience door to door up to 500 km. We offer new optimized design based on proven principles, around proven and available technology in electric motors and batteries, that brings lowest risk and shortest route to certification.
