Your mission

Join our vehicle systems team and contribute to the design, development, and certification of the aircraft’s mechanical systems. As a Working Student Mechanical Systems Engineering (all genders), you’ll play a key role in the design of mechanical systems, such as the flight controls and the ice protection system, while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Your Day-to-Day

Collaborate with the team to define and derive system-level requirements.
Support system safety activities, including SFHAs, ensuring compliance with ARP4754, ARP4761, and applicable performance standards.
Contribute to the definition of mechanical system architectures and interfaces across the aircraft.
Perform mechanical system 3D design and integration in the aircraft’s Digital Mock-up (DMU), including single parts, assemblies/installations, and mechanism kinematic analysis and simulation
Perform, document, and present trade studies and analyses to support key design decisions.
Research, benchmark, and evaluate relevant technologies and suppliers, supporting component selection.
Interface directly with partners and suppliers, gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration.

Your profile

BSc /MSc in progress in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
Knowledge on aircraft mechanical systems and a strong motivation for detailed system definition for an electric aircraft.
Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA or SolidWorks
Good programming skills, preferably Python or MATLAB
Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset required for systems definition and installation for an optimized design.
Knowledge of relevant certification standards (EASA CS-23 or SAE ARP4754) is a plus.
High level of autonomy with the ability to work both in a team and independently.
English language working level proficiency is a must.
